in the 67th year of his age

My flesh shall slumber in the ground
Till the last trumpet shall be sound
Then burst the chains with but surprise
And in my Saviour's image rise.

  1. That stones is a beautiful example of the craftsmanship of the early headstone makers. It must have been a very time consuming process to create such beauty without modern technology.
